Eugene '08

Hayward Field at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon will be where the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Track & Field will be held. I am so excited about this. I did Track & Field all the way from elementary school through high school. I always went to Track meets at the UO as well, seeing many famous athletes at meets like the Prefontaine Classic. Check out this website for more info about the events.

Girolamo Panzetta

I saw Girolamo at a fashion show in Okinawa this last weekend on Sunday. I wasn't aware that he would be in it, and it was a surprise even for the staff of the event right up until just before it started. For those of you who don't know who he is, here is a link to information about him in wikipedia. He's basically an Italian Talent on Japanese TV. My girlfriend has a couple of photos in her camera, so I will try and get copies and upload them later.

Incident

Outside my apartment complex last night when I went home I discovered broken black sunglasses lying on the pavement with what looked like drops of blood around it just next to the mailboxes by the stairs. This was rather disturbing to discover and a little scary. Mainly due to the fact that Japanese mafia wear black sunglasses and there was blood involved. Many young children and families live in the same apartment complex that I live in there too, so I presumed it was quite a safe neighborhood. This discovery seems to prove that presumption otherwise. Not much I can do about it, but it is disturbing.

Orion Beer Factory Tour

I went on a tour of the Orion beer factory this last saturday. I participated in the Orion ichinichi daigaku. We got to learn lot's of information about how the beer is brewed and made, sample some of the beers, and had a graduation party for the event with all you can eat/drink in their guest hall at the brewery. It was an awesome day. I had a great time. I will try to get some photos up later after I put them on my computer.
