Golden Week

We’ve entered Golden Week. 5 days off in a row this year. On Day 1 now. Just lounging around in the shade, staying out of the direct sun, which would give me a nice big red sunburn. Maybe going out later in the evening once it cools down outside a bit. No big plans for GW, just go up north sometime to the cafes and beaches, Go to Haebaru Jusco on 5/3 to listen to the radio show music shower broadcast live from Haebaru Jusco, I can study how they do the show to work on my own radio show techniques and improve how I talk on the radio. Then, go to the Naha Haree and watch the fireworks, and maybe see a movie sometime over GW. Just gonna relax and take it easy as much as possible. Hope everyone else in Japan also has a great Golden Week!

FM21 Okinawa 76.8 Mhz

I hope all is going well. I have some news I would like to share with you. On Sunday, April 18th, 2010 at 11 a.m. (In the Japan Time Zone) I will be on the radio from 11 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. I will be on the radio station FM21 Okinawa. It is a community radio station. A friend of my wife works at this radio station and wants me to host a radio show once a month every 3rd Sunday of the month from 11 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Because the show is located in Okinawa, Japan and the primary listeners are Japanese, I will primarily be speaking in Japanese on the show, but perhaps if there are enough listeners watching on the Internet that only speak English I can consider implementing a section where I only speak in English or something.

On their front page they have a live streaming video feed which can be viewed from anywhere in the world, so if you get this e-mail in time, and are able to view the homepage on the Internet, you should be able to watch me on the radio.

ダーリンは外国人 特別試写会

ダーリンは外国人　特別試写会を見に行ってきました。
ハートウォーミイングな映画です。元気をもらいました。実際にダーリンは外国人の夫婦ですので、すごく夫婦共通点の文化の違いとかあぁ〜わかるわかるとかありましたし、改めて夫婦の愛をこめてよし！夫婦としてもっと頑張りましょう！と思いました。漫画の雰囲気がありまして、でも、漫画で味わえない映画で味わえる部分もありまして、すごくいい映画でした。

明日から一般公開ですので、ぜひ、興味のある方は見に行ってください！

でRBCプレゼンッ特別試写会の招待状を当たりました！！
この映画はすごく楽しみです！！ダーリンは外国人の漫画はほとんど全部持っているし、同じく国際結婚もしているので、楽しみです！！また見ましたら感想を書きたいと思います！
